(WHO là tân ngữ của đôngh từ “see” )
-Who did you go to the coffee shop with?
Bạn đã đi uống cà phê với ai?
( WHO là tân ngữ của động từ “go” )
c. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Giới từ:
Eg:
– Who does this book belong to? – It belongs to me!
Sách này của ai vậy? – Nó là của tôi!
( WHO là Tân ngữ của Giới từ “to”)
II. WHOM:ai/những người nào?
a. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Động từ :
Eg:
– Whom did you see at the party?
Cậu đã gặp ai trong buổi liên hoan?
b. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Giới từ:
Eg:
– Whom did she marry with?
Bà ấy kết hôn với ai?
III. WHOSE : của ai ( chỉ sự sở hữu)
-Làm Chủ ngữ của Động từ:
Eg:
-Whose is the wish? = Điều ước đó là của ai?
-Whose (books) are there? =Những (quyển sách) này là của ai?

I. WHAT: cái gì?
a. Làm CHỦ NGỮ của Động từ:
Eg:
– What caused the accident?
Nguyên nhân của tai nạn là gì?
(WHAT là Chủ ngữ của “caused” )
b. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Động từ:
Eg:
-What did you write at the end of the line? = Ở cuối dòng bạn viết gì?
(WHAT là Tân ngữ của “write”)
c. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Giới từ:
Eg:
– What do you pack your clothes in?
Bạn đựng quần áo bằng gì?
(What là Tân ngữ của “in”)
II. WHICH: nào,cái nào, người nào? (Dùng cho cả người và vật), mang tính lựa chọn trong số người hoặc vật đã được biết.
a. Làm CHỦ NGỮ của Động từ
Eg:
-Which is your favorite color?
Màu nào là màu bạn ưa thích nhất?
-Which is cheaper, the bus or the train?
Xe nào rẻ hơn, xe bus hay xe lửa?
( WHICH là Chủ ngữ của “is”)
b. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Động từ:
Eg:
-Which do you like, tea or coffee?
Bạn thích uống thứ nào , trà hày cà phê ?
(WHICH là Tân ngữ của “like”)
c. Làm TÂN NGỮ của Giới từ:
Eg:
– Which car do you want me to put them in?
Bạn muốn tôi đặt chúng vào xe nào?
( WHICH là Tân ngữ của “to”)
